Pros
*Relaxed and pleasant working atmosphere *Customers are generally chill and easy to help *Instructors love what they do and love sharing these things with you *Management are generally easy going and receptive to feedback *Adequate pay for the work you do
Cons
*Very seasonal work - your hours in winter are not great and you will need other employment or savings to sustain yourself. This is downplayed heavily when you are hired in the summertime. *Tricky to gain trust with others if you don't skydive yourself (takes time to build). *Due to the seasonal nature of the business, lots of comings and goings - people don't see the point in getting super close and fostering strong relationships with you because you are likely to leave at some point. Morale dips when people start leaving before the winter period. *No stability of hours - hard to prioritise commitments outside of work. You never know if you are going to be there for 4 hours or 12 hours, or if the start time will be delayed by several hours. Only take this job if you have minimal time sensitive obligations outside work.
