Pros

•Exposure to different reps, products and treatments.

Cons

•Nepotism is very common, SkinSpirit aware of Nepotism and refuses to implement policies due to hiring family members for higher paying roles. •Human Resources is more like SkinSpirit Resources(they’ll close their eyes to avoid getting the people above upset.) •HR is known to contact primary care doctors to question medication history in order to decide if you are “fit” for a management position. •SkinSpirit hosts extravagant parties, but yet cutting down hours for Administrative employees. •Broken bonus system that only benefits corporate employees and makes no difference for other employee’s paychecks. •Management will gaslight you in order to push the company’s agenda, for example: whenever an employee is dissatisfied they’ll ask you to see “the bigger picture.” •Management will guilt trip you if you are sick and need to go home by asking the following: “what can you do for the clinic?” •Management team will sabotage your growth if you decide to speak up. •Management will force you to go into 1-1’s even after expressing discomfort. Marketing approves of campaigns that claim to bring exposure to POC, but yet those treatments are not safe for POC, clearly only doing it for the money •Upper management is sexist and only hires women/close friends. •Extremely fast expansion that is not benefiting anyone. Management and HR allow senior employees to mistreat other employees by doing the following: Calling people of color monkeys. Yelling at employees in order to plant fear. Forcing employees to call patients to beg for tips when patients are clearly uncomfortable. •Outdated management style.

Pros

In certain areas of the country, the brand carries a strong reputation and feels prestigious to work for. The clinics are beautiful and there are great trainings available for injectors looking to improve their skills. Being associated with a nationally recognized aesthetic brand can open doors and help build credibility in your career.

Cons

This company expects injectors to function not only as medical professionals, but also as full time influencers and marketers. There is constant pressure to post on social media, grow your Instagram presence, and bring in your own clientele. If you are not naturally skilled at marketing yourself online, management can make you feel inadequate rather than supported and they expect you pay for your own advertising if your patient flow is slow, despite being a W2 employee. Despite the heavy emphasis placed on provider driven growth, there appears to be NO investment in local marketing to help build patient flow. The internal culture can also feel extremely inconsistent. Certain employees seem protected regardless of behavior. Toxic workplace dynamics and favoritism are completely overlooked, which creates an unhealthy work environment and contributes to high turnover. The inconsistent standards, favoritism, and lack of accountability contributed heavily to a toxic work culture. Compensation transparency is another issue. Pay for the same role can vary significantly between providers, and employees often have to advocate aggressively for fair compensation rather than being compensated consistently based on experience. Nothing is far or equal within the company when it comes to pay.
