Pros
I think that the team was very enthusiastic and tried hard to please their clients and upper management.
Cons
My gut instinct about this company was right and I should have followed it. That’s my bad. The CEO has a bit of a Peter Pan complex which never gets called out because they hire mostly young (mostly female) candidates to work for the company. I think this is so that they can under pay and over work their staff. The company culture was just bizarre, and I got the feeling that because it was a lot of the employees’ first job out of school, they didn’t/don’t fully understand the situation that they’re in. Culture aside, what I really had a problem with was their use interns for client facing work. They would hire college students and have them do work that they didn’t fully understand and then pass it off to their clients. That’s not mentorship, that’s cheap labor. I have to laugh though in retrospect, whenever one of my friends are looking to interview for a job, I have a new phrase, “Don’t get Six Spoked”.
