Pros
- Excellent product market fit - Powerful toolkit of SaaS solutions for sales people to use - Consistent improvement in processes - Highly transparent working culture - Many opportunities for growth of your skillset - Reward and recognition is the best I've experienced - Diverse range of experiences in the team, most are not from SaaS (and it works!) - Internal promotion is the norm - Many team members have been able to move internationally - Most importantly, a genuine remote/flexible working environment - Minimal internal meetings, almost no internal emails - the way we operate makes me wonder why other orgs still do this. - Very progressive HR policies, particularly around Parental and Compassionate leave.
Cons
The only Cons I have are all to do with the transition from the old "corporate" way of doing things to the modern & efficient way of achieving goals. Thus far, all cons were simply transitory, in short they were: - Learning new processes/systems took me some time - however, my learning style was supported as soon as I raised my hand. - A greater use of written communication as a result of having minimal internal meetings took some time to get used to.
