Pros
- Company culture: Thoughtful offsites, strong customer focus. The team is friendly, supportive, low-ego, collaborative. There's a real feeling of working towards a shared goal. People genuinely want to help each other succeed.
- The SF office is so nice to be in! Free coffee, tons of snacks, corner office with views of the city, and most of the product team works together in person.
- CEO is kind, empathetic, professional, and deeply involved across the company. She communicates clearly, sets ambitious but realistic goals, and cares about Siteline's customers and employees.
- Woman-led: Both co-founders are women, and many of the company’s team leads are women as well
- Impactful work: Everything you do here matters. When you ship a feature or a fix, customers notice.
Cons
Like any early stage startup, things can shift quickly as the company grows, which isn’t for everyone. In my opinion, this doesn’t feel different from other startups at this stage. It’s part of the nature of building a company. The team is thoughtful about communicating changes, but if you prefer a very stable environment with little change, a startup may not be the best fit.
