Pros
This Friday is my last day at Simpli.fi and it will conclude a 3 and a half year chapter with the company. I joined Simpli.fi right out of college on a search for a job that would put me on a path for a promising sales career. I can confidently say that it has been that and more for me. Here are a list of pro's: -Very strong leadership (SMB division leadership specifically with James L and Kelly C) -Strong CEO and CRO that were willing to invest in tools and products specific to our division due to growth -A company that is growing rapidly -Strong training program (sales specific and product specific) -Laid back company culture I joined Simpli.fi at a unique time of growth. The company acquired a new investor Blackstone and was valued at $1.5 billion 4 months into my career as an SDR there. The division I was promoted into (SMB) was also in its infancy so there was a process of testing sales tools and hiring new directors. It was a start up feel in an established company. As both an SDR and a Director, I felt leadership always had my back and the tools to be successful.
Cons
There was a little division between the client success and sales team in person. I was one of the only sales directors that showed up to office and it was clear that client success had their separate events. While I had worked there I had overheard others claiming I was a spy for sales. That lead me to working mostly remote for a year and a half. The working relationship on client calls was strong though for the most part with Client success. With growth in the division, there also came growing pains. The SMB division hired a large amount of directors and there was less attention for longer tenured directors. Also, the path of personal growth became less clear for me and the salary was just less competitive for other similar rolls in the market.
