Pros

Work from home, Pay is excellent based on how hard you try and how much time you put into the research. The work involves undercover and video surveillance which can be interesting.

Cons

Can be a lot of travel. Since the most important part of this job involves undercover and video surveillance it can be intimidating for an inexperienced investigator.

Pros

Signal Auditing provides an opportunity for private investigators to gain additional work during down times, or add to their income. You work independently and do your own research, travel to locations suspected of piracy, gain the required evidence, and get paid for each “hit” you obtain. The work is fun, interesting, and challenging. You go undercover to bars and restaurants and obtain video evidence.

Cons

You are only paid when you get a “hit” so the time you put into research is not compensated; however, you receive fair pay for each hit you obtain, which can make up for it. There can be travel involved and there is always the potential that the location you are auditing will not be an actual hit, even after you put the time and effort into researching it.
