Pros
Managers/Owners were great about scheduling. The hourly rate was decent and tips were a nice surprise. The job is easy and more fun than work. Opportunities for endless photos of yourself. You get to visit endless locations/venues/cities surrounding you. It was a great opportunity for networking with guests and other event staff. Opportunities to attend wedding expos! You work events, but you also get to experience them as well. I was able to go to new places, eat great food, and meet great people. Sometimes I even was given gifts (and maybe a glass of wine?). I only stopped working here because it was a 2nd job and my main job required more attention.
Cons
You work 99% weekends and holidays can be hard to get off. Also you can be required to drive a long distance, if you tell them you're open to it.
