Pros

-Great area -Decent kitchen -Again, nice location -You learn how to NOT treat clients/boutiques, like Shoptiques does! They treat boutiques like garbage. Once they acquire a boutique and take their money, boutiques get treated so poorly. Boutiques don't even have a phone line to call for support. All they get is email support which is also abysmal. Like come on, Olga. Didn't you learn a thing or two from Harvard Business??

Cons

-Shared office with another company; clearly they are not doing so well if you have seen their past office. -CEO is borderline insane. I honestly believe she's crazy. She will be nice to your face for 2 seconds and then will start cursing off someone on the phone. Harvard Business definitely taught her to be professional *eyeroll* -Shoptiques does a poor job being a middleman between boutiques and customers so you'll often have to take blame from both sides. Have fun being verbally abused whenever you're there. Best part- there is nothing you can do about it. -They clearly are not doing well if their turnover is so quick. Look at the reviews from last year. There were 80+ working. Now they can barely cover daily responsibilities due to lack of employees. Also, they are constantly badgering boutiques to buy their horrible POS or to rejoin since they are doing so poorly. -So freaking loud in there. I feel so bad when I am on the phone because the other line almost always hears the background noise. -There are no "perks," despite whatever fake reviews claim. There is no yoga, champagne celebrations, etc. You don't even get a lunch break! -Zero room for growth. Get out of there unless you enjoy being a slave. -Underpaid. -Very deceiving to customers. When they changed their free shipping policy, you would think that Shoptiques would send a mass email to customers about the change. Nope! Olga cares too much money to have a decent business ethic. Guess I can't blame her since they are doing so badly.

Pros

I have been working at shoptiques for quite awhile now and it just now occured to me to look at glassdoor. I am personally offended by the negative review written below and I just feel like i have to respond!!! First of all, Noone asked me to write this review!!!! Honestly, I can't imagine the CEO or anyone else stooping so low. Also, I know exactly who wrote that review !!! Just fyi your review clearly violates the "community guidelines" advised by glassdoor (cough "Please stick to the Community Guidelines and do not post: Aggressive or discriminatory language"). I am sorry you were let go. Shoptiques isn't the right fit for everyone but life usually works out for the best so you'll be ok. I would agree though! i think shoptiques had some cutbacks. Ive talked to Olga about my concerns and she explained that as a new business she had to pivot in order to grow. businesses go through ups and downs so makes sense to me. I heard the turnover was quick awhile back..but i havent noticed it since ive started. It hasn't been as bad as my last startup job.... Also from what i hear olga implemented major changes to resolve the issue. I dont find shoptiques that "intense". I think the office is pretty laid back and the people i spend the most time with work hard but overall seem very happy.

Cons

well apparently they dont serve champagne!!! I mean come on! (umm dude! i advise you to get a dictionary... or google work... because i think you might be confused.... makes sense you were let go)
