Pros
Great advancement opportunities and a few excellent senior mgmt members and tenured colleagues whom I respect. Some flexibility in job and some autonomy. Being able to work for the leader in the industry that is going through its growing pains in a new market (Canada) and being part of the process solving the puzzle one day at a time.
Cons
Some colleagues are jaded and create negativity amongst the crowd which can be toxic. There is too much micromanagement that is comically fed down from senior management for the sake of reaction that have no practicality in the market. This disconnect between the marketing offices and the field create a rift where talented employees feel ridiculed for their efforts and market awareness for programs and tactics experimented for biased correlation in the field. The major problem perceived by employees are not resentment towards programs but rather the lack of support and preparation for such changes or events.
