Pros

The only pro is the company is remote.

Cons

They keep losing accounts because they can’t deliver. The owner routinely makes discriminatory and disparaging comments. her impulsive behavior is often directed at employees and clients in hostile and retaliatory ways like threatening canceling a contract over a few bucks or not paying commission.

Pros

Hands-down some of the best on-the-job training I’ve ever received. They’re great about checking in regularly and making sure you feel comfortable in the role and confident about your abilities to do everything up to standard. They don’t just hire you on, show you around, and expect you to know everything. Management really goes above and beyond what I you’d expect when it comes to keeping you in the loop and sitting you down to explain anything as needed. I have completely inundated my direct supervisor with a flood of questions almost every single day for the last six months and I’m never made to feel like I’m being a bother or creating unnecessary stress on him. Instead, I’m repeatedly reminded that it’s all part of the learning process and that they’re actually GLAD to have an employee like me. The way they see it is that they either answer a million questions at the beginning or they have to deal with employees who make millions of mistakes and think they know what they’re doing. In the words of my manager, “I know which is worse in the long-run”. I wish more companies had this outlook on the training and support new hires need. I’m sure they’d have a lot less issues retaining top talent who just needed a little more direction.

Cons

I haven’t noticed a single con so far. I’ve only been here a few months, but still… from my experience, this is one of the few companies that I’ve worked for (in any industry) that knows what they’re doing and that knows how to value the people they have.
