Pros

- Laid back clothing to wear to work - Work with those of the ages 20-30 - Preaching what you learn in college

Cons

- Benefits need tremendous work - Upper management praises health coaches, but then they possibly changes health coaches shift times every quarter without control - Highly underpaid for the type of work and the amount of work that health coaches do; and especially for how much the company makes per year - Very micro-managed - If you run out of PTO then they do a poor job working with you to make dr appointments or other urgent appointments - they will dock you - So many health coaches quit soon after being hired, or end up not like the job - Work is very repetitive - They do not compensate for any speech or posture issues that may result from the job

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. You’ve listed a number of items here and would strongly suggest you talk to your leader, directors or a member of HR – we’re glad to spend time with you to talk through your concerns. Of the items you mentioned, we did want to address the scheduling of our health coaches. Simply put, the nature of this work requires that we schedule our colleagues when our members are available. Based on a number of variables, we are required to regularly assess and tweak schedules to meet member needs, and we recognize not every schedule change is welcome. But, we do understand the importance of work-life balance and work closely with our workforce solutions team to consider and minimize colleague impact before we make any changes. Again, these things are typically much easier to address face-to-face. Please do not hesitate to reach out to your leaders or HR to talk – we’re more than happy to do it.

Pros

Great team and benefits enable personal growth

Cons

The foundation model for their business is flawed, giving members points for being healthy is great, but often times having members take advantage of the remote aspect of the role, being rude and not following company requirements. Sharecare doesn't nullify or prevent this, causing coaches to be burdened with both angry carriers and requirements from the company. All while stressing about the metrics. Add in not fully explained job requirements until 6 months, where you are handling up to 80 calls in a day. With managers that do little to help mental and day you just need to be better.
