Pros
Great way to learn about the industry. Perfect for someone who wants an easy job with a chill environment and great work location. Looks good on a resume and can be used to get a foot into the door at another company with better opportunities. I took a HUGE raise when I changed jobs and work in a MUCH better position.
Cons
The position was VERY boring. It would be great for someone who was more interested in administrative tasks. The affiliates who called in were IDIOTS. I had to teach people how to right click!!! Most days I felt like my brain was melting out of my ears from boredom. The company is very small. I did not like most of the people I worked with. Some of the employees were VERY childish and would gossip loudly about people while they were in ear shot. It reminded me of high school. However I was there to do my job. I felt like a lot of people were just super nosy and RUDE. It was so bad but then another girl who was in graphic design came and they started being rude to her and forgot about me. Not a lot of room for advancement.
