Pros
The organization is extremely welcoming to veterans and fosters a positive culture. Also, the leadership values and encourages diverse opinions and ideas. They are understanding and flexible, making it an ideal environment for individuals with young families. In my role, I have the opportunity to take on a variety of responsibilities and wear many hats. I started out a part-time, but they never made me feel like a lesser employee, always accepting of my input and experience. They have since brought me on full-time.
Cons
While there are no glaring drawbacks, there is room for improvement in expediting decision-making processes. However, I understand that delays often stem from the specific requirements outlined in government contracts.
