Pros
They are willing to pay for quality talent or what they refer to as A players. You can some times get out of there after only 9 or 10 hours a day.
Cons
Management in a publicly traded company is unbelievably nepotistic. Sensient's CEO and his predecessor-father are both ex-Navy. The company is run very much like a ship with every person reporting directly up the line with specific jobs to do. Matrix management is eschewed to the point of high level execs having to do clerical work because they don't share staff. The dress code at the corporate office is suit and tie/dress and hosiery every day. Work life balance is challenged as the demands are great on each and every employee. I worked with two other professionals and we had a bet to see who could get out first. Glad to say that I won.
