Pros
When I think of one, I will come back and fill section this in.
Cons
It’s unfortunate, Sensei had the right people from the start to create an amazing company and culture. The CEO refers to himself as the “Innovator” he’s more like a narcissist on steroids. The best part about the situation over there is that the CEO is so lacking in people skills, and emotional intelligence that he doesn’t even realize when he is being out right rude and obnoxious.
He surrounds himself by a team of “Yes Men”, there are no women on the so-called leadership team which is really just a way for the CEO to mask his own bad decisions. Now, that I’m gone, they are down to 2 women. I mean out of a company of 12, they are small potatoes. Here’s another great fact - the CEO does no factual planning when it comes to sales and expectations of the sales team. He also has no experience with marketing or customer service. If you think the customer is always wrong this is your place!
Overall, the CEO leads the company by fear, he does not empower people do be their best. He boasts about having a staff that can self-manage. The funny thing is that he is the epidemy of a micro-manager, and wastes everyone’s time by not giving clear instructions from the start and then forces people re-do the same work over and over again. If you like to be degraded, demoralized, and beaten down on a daily basis you will fit right in here.
