      • Supportive and respectful work environment with zero toxicity • Strong work-life balance • Creative freedom — it’s easy to propose new ideas, and the company genuinely allocates time and resources to explore and implement them • Low bureaucracy and a flexible decision-making process — especially noticeable compared to more rigid environments (e.g., Yandex) • Truly unlimited paid time off — Semrush lives up to the promise, and it’s rarely an issue to take additional leave beyond the legal minimum when needed

      Cons

      • Some business decisions are made top-down by stakeholders, and non-technical leaders don’t always make the most informed choices. Industry best practices often favor a bottom-up approach, where decisions are shaped by experts with deep technical insight • Occasionally, business requirements can be vague, making it unclear who owns which responsibilities

      The product is an industry leader, making it exciting to work on. The teams are filled with incredibly smart, creative, and collaborative people. Benefits and remote flexibility are solid, and there are good opportunities to learn SEO and digital marketing deeply.

      Cons

      The work culture can occasionally lean toward working harder than playing hard especially as the company scales.
