Pros

They have a long and thorough training program. Also they fed us great high calorie food for the hours and hours of overtime and weekends we worked.

Cons

This company openly lies to prospective hires for sales positions. They will make you think you have a real chance at making a decent living there. The truth is you will barely clear minimum wage. Stay away!!

Thank you for your input. One of the perks that SelectQuote provides is free lunch from time to time. For those in sales, overtime is available, so the more hours you work, the more money you make, but a typical 8-hour work day is required from Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays for Core sales positions. Those successful and experienced in sales here have an unlimited earning potential with nearly two thirds making over $80K in verifiable W2 wages last year nationwide. Our sales environment is indeed a highly competitive and dynamic one, and we are always upfront about this. Although we do strive to prepare employees for this reality it may not be a fit for everyone. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

Pros

Annual bonus based on employee and company performance

Cons

Annual salary is way below national average, especially based on years of experience. They've talked about promoting all QA Analysts to QA Engineer for years (due to the fact we're all fulfilling QA Engineer roles but with the Analyst title and pay), but every year they had a new excuse as to why they couldn't promote everyone. The workload far outweighs the pay.
