Pros

Exposure to clinical research and occasional free lunch

Cons

The work environment at Segal Trials is extremely toxic, with no regard for work-life balance—employees are often expected to be available around the clock. There’s a pervasive culture of favoritism and double standards, where certain individuals are treated preferentially regardless of performance. Leadership is poor, lacking both accountability and integrity, and there are corrupt and unethical practices happening behind the scenes. Expectations are often unrealistic, yet the support and training needed to meet them are minimal or completely absent. The onboarding process is disorganized, and feedback is not only unwelcome but often met with retaliation. Micromanagement is the norm, leaving little room for autonomy or growth, which contributes to high turnover and low morale throughout the organization.
