The people, I've met many close friends here. The Divisional Management truly cares about their employees.
Cons
You don't need to work in Retirement to understand that offering employees the same exact pay less a pension, doesn't equate to "comparable." But there's a 3% match! Oh awesome, even had there been a 3% pay increase in my offer as a goodwill gesture, it still would be nowhere near what I would've earned/received with my pension. I'm not a Financial Advisor, but I do have common sense. Needing to set aside a significant portion of my income monthly, without getting a significant (or any) bump certainly is not "comparable." We were hoodwinked two months before year end, while we were busy preparing for the Holidays with our families & a very busy time in Retirement. Can't wait to see the retention percentage in about March, but we probably won't hear about that, doubt I'll make it that long. Perfect timing on Corporate Management's part though, kudos!
