Pros

The environment at SOE is one of constant growth and learning. It is clear that the company prides itself in jumping at the opportunity to take on bigger challenges that stretch the organization as a whole. At the individual level, team members are ecstatic at the opportunity to tackle problems that are new and more complex than the last. This is combined with a culture that embodies "help others first." Everyone at all levels is enthusiastic to help or teach, even when the task lands outside of their responsibility. With this combination, the hardest engineering problems transform into raw engineering joy. If you want to contribute to the bleeding edge of engineering across aerospace, automotive, consumer, medical, and more, SOE may be the place for you.

Cons

As with any young and quickly growing business, resources and process are not always available. Often times this calls on employees to get scrappy and bear responsibility that may not be within their job description.

Thanks for the review, especially the candidate comments! Building process and making sure we aren't over-resourced on the projects we do take on are some of our biggest priorities, and we're hiring like crazy to continue improving in those areas :).
