Thank you for the feedback. While we take every current and former employee's feedback very seriously, we also feel it is important for the feedback to be accurate, and reflect the truth.
Growth and opportunities are rampant for high performing employees. Only a few weeks ago, one of the SDR's hired in the last 12 months was promoted to AE. Not only was this individual promoted but over 20% of our workers have been promoted in the last year. These promotions are both out of the growth of the company, allowing for new opportunities, as well as individual performance.
Diversity is super important to us.We take great responsibility in fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment, hiring homegrown talent and bridging the gap for women in tech. To be factual, one female leader out of four has left the company. This is irrelevant to us though as we continuously work on ways to create and improve diversity in the workplace. Last month launched a diversity initiative to further increase our diversity benchmark. We report to the whole company quarterly on accountability metrics around diversity as they are important to us and to ensure we are fostering a diverse, equal, and inclusive work environment.
In terms of COVID, we are sorry we left that impression. We managed through the pandemic by following all local and state guidelines and regulations. We allowed for flexibility to allow you, and others, to work remotely for the last 18 months. This flexibility continues today. People are allowed to come back when they personally feel safe. We still have a large portion of our employees working from home full-time. Additionally, we have an Open PTO policy that gives our employees the time they need to be in good health. We encourage all employees to take time off and actively track this in our accountability metrics to help ensure people are taking the necessary time off to be successful in their role. We are fully aware that good company health starts with the wellbeing of its employees.
While we are thankful to be recognized as a great place to work in San Antonio, we definitely encouraged our employees to participate in the survey (certainly not bribed), with the hope that they would be honest and transparent in their feedback - positive or negative.
We are sorry we are parting on such terms and we wish you nothing but the best of luck in your new role.
