Pros
Its an internet start up and you can learn a lot from working in a smaller company. There is a lot of room for personal growth, but not many career opportunities within the company.
Cons
Working crazy long hours for something you aren't sure will make it within the next few months. As for work/life balance; there isn't much life, but there is A LOT of work. The former employees (most from when it was called Guidester) were laid off. Its a shame, they were very nice and a pleasure to work with and were very dedicated to a company that shut them out after they didn't need them anymore. So, I'm not sure what that really says about how much upper management cares about their employees. Or maybe they do care, just for those that work in the Boston headquarters.
