Cons
I have been at seamless for about a year now, so I feel I have seen everything evolve and seen this company start to decline. Seamless has been going downhill since they started “hyper scaling”. They have taken the approach of hiring 20+ people a month, then firing them before they’ve been there 90 days. (The CEO posts everyday that they’re hiring 250+ people though!) They only keep the very top performers. You are told you can make 6-figures as an SDR, which is literally impossible even if you work over 40 hours a week like you are expected to do without getting paid for it. You constantly get screamed at by prospects because you spam people all day every day with phone calls even after they have asked you to stop calling 10+ times bc they put them right back into the lists. You are expected to make a minimum of 500 dials a day, with most people dialing over 700. Quota is holding 40 meetings a month, which would be fair if your number didn’t get spammed out everyday from the call volume or if they made fair lists. The highly targeted, special lists are saved for the favorites while everyone else is stuck fighting for what’s left Upper management does not know your name or care about you unless you are in the top 10 out of 100 reps. The rest are looked at as numbers and if you miss quota one month they will fire you without warning. I have heard upper management use racial slurs and analogies. They also promoted a girl here then fired her 20 minutes later without warning. Account executives are under the same pressure and suffer from SDRs throwing any and every meeting at their calendar, because they are so scared of missing quota and getting fired. You can also be PIPed / fired for using PTO and not having an adjusted quota. Solid gig if you’re in the top 5% of performers, other than that stay away.
