Pros
If you don't know anything about scribing, they do offer to train you which is a benefit. Plus, the training is paid. The people that you work with are not necessarily all bad and they at least have remote opportunities. I appreciated my job being remote, which made it convenient for me.
Cons
They can fire you for any reason. Honestly, this company does not care about their employees at all and just sees people as pawns for them to control. If they have any reason to fire you, they will use it against you. They also have the audacity to state a standard that you fail to meet and use that as the reason for firing when they have never mentioned that standard before and it is nowhere to be found besides the most "updated" version of their handbook. 15 minute breaks for every 4 hours when working remotely is not enough, plus getting paid $15 an hour is simply not worth it to work here when you can become a scribe at any hospital and get paid at least $20 an hour. When you are "on-call," you can't clock in and get paid if you are remote, but they still require you to be ready in 5-10 minutes if they call you in, which is absurd. You basically need to be on standby for a job and you won't be compensated. If this deters you from applying here, I've done my job.
