Pros
Better pay than Scribe America, paychecks delivered on time, little burden of dealing with the company as they coordinate your work with a local hospital partner.
Cons
Pay incommensurate with the anatomical/medical knowledge, attention to detail, focus, on-the-job stress, computer literacy, and risk exposure consistently required of or experienced by scribes. The value of gaining hospital experience in relation to a given scribe's prospects of being admitted to medical school is commonly used by the employers of scribes as justification to depress their wages. This is unfair—many other jobs provide valuable experience that can look good on a resume without having that fact used to excuse lower wages.
