Pros
The money was pretty good, the clientele was ok, and I liked my coworkers
Cons
From the beginning, there was a high level of pressure, especially when transitioning from guards to detachable blades. While I understand that growth is expected, the environment did not feel supportive if you didn’t immediately catch on. Instead, it often felt discouraging and made me question my abilities.
There also seemed to be noticeable favoritism. I observed a clear difference in how I was treated compared to another new hire who started at the same time. While she was given more patience and support, I was met with a colder approach, particularly from the trainer. This inconsistency made the work environment feel uncomfortable and unfair.
The management style was another challenge. Interactions with the manager often felt condescending, and I was not the only one who shared this experience.
