      Pros

      People are very nice. It is a large company, so there are lots of different opportunities.

      Cons

      Bad performance is not always addressed, so stronger performers pull the weight of others. People seem to be let go frequently. Hopefully it is the weaker performers... Being appropriately critical when making decisions is not welcomed. Change seems to be made just for change's sake, without doing a good assessment of the costs and benefits.

      Pros

      Dedicated local account, driver leaders are nice, equipment is decent.

      Cons

      $12/hr on duty, not driving pay. That’s ridiculous and includes everything except driving. Work can be inconsistent at times, hours can be long, no holiday or mileage bonus pay for a long time after hire, benefits are expensive. Schneider won’t allow drivers to use Bluetooth or any other hands-free device, INCLUDING HEARING AIDS, to receive calls while driving. This makes having a life outside of work and scheduling appointments almost impossible.
