Pros

Schenck has been a breathe of fresh air! It has been incredible to find out first hand that there are still companies out there who place importance on their employee's satisfaction and the culture that drives them. They promote the team to come up with new ideas and give them the freedom to try them out. The work environment is very positive and has a good mix of team recognition activities within the daily work. This company has been honest and upfront from day one; a trait that is not so easy to come by anymore.

Cons

Realistically I have not found any downsides at this point.

Cons

Company was acquired by Schenck -- it took three months to receive an offer. Prior to receiving the offer, the company's "process" involved "jumping through many hoops" and communication was minimal. Although it took three months to receive the offer, Schenck expected an immediate response. It was obvious Schenck was not used to negotiation. Its arrogance is unlimited. The offer letter denigrated my professional experience and career accomplishments. It was riddled with typographical and grammatical errors. My attorney reviewed the agreement and recommended changes due to a pending opportunity with the acquired firm's clients. Schenck then revoked the offer although it invited me to contact them, stating it would not revoke its offer. What would be the point of contacting these people? The lack of leadership and "we will have the last word" attitude was appalling. Clearly, the company does not value its human resources.
