Pros

I'm not one to leave reviews normally, but I was FLOORED to see what other people had posted on here. There is no way they are working for the same company I am. I'm not a Team Leader, I'm not "high up," I'm just an average employee... but I have no complaints about my job or experience here. I wonder if other people posting on here have limited work experience, or must have been REALLY low performers, because I've worked with the same team with almost no turnover for 3 years now. We had one person leave to start her own business, and that's it. I know enough abut this company and people in several departments to know that there's no way everything they are saying is true. Anyways, here are my pros for working here: - My team leader cares about me... like personally and professionally. - Every year I've been here has been my "best year ever" for personal income... and my team leader WANTS that for me and celebrates it with me. - I've always hit my incentive... I've never had a month where I haven't hit it. - Lots of vacation days, extra time off around holidays, and plenty of PTO days. - Food trucks, company outings, free lunch, endless snacks and drinks - I've been allowed to work from home if I need to on some days - The bigger result you make, the more money you make ::: In past jobs, I'd work my butt off (because that's the kind of person I am), but I wouldn't see any extra money for that. I love that I actually MAKE MORE when I WORK HARDER/SMARTER. It's awesome. My first year here, I made $9k OVER what I told them I wanted to make. So it's been awesome to have that opportunity. - The biggest and best PRO I can ever think of is that I get to work for a company that makes a difference. Some people on here talk about the CEO as a some cult ring-leader. But it's not Jay that we're obsessed with (anyone saying that is SO wrong), it's making a difference in people's lives. That is addicting. And Jay shows us how to do that, because he's done it more than anyone else. I don't "cult follow" Jay Geier. But I will happily join a cult that works to make the lives of our clients better (that's just good business sense). We change people's lives, families, businesses, etc. I'd be crazy to NOT love it. You'd have to be heartless to hate it. I come to work every day and I get to KNOW and SEE that there are people who come to us bankrupt, broken, and hopeless. And we show them how to put the pieces back together. It's making me tear up to think about... I love getting to have that impact on someone. I've never felt that before in any job I've had.

Cons

I've worked in enough places to know that every company has some cons. But I also know that not every company actually listens to their employee feedback. This place does. When I started, the company had gone through a big growth spurt. And in doing so, they now had to get benefits plans in place that weren't available initially. Now, at 180+, every employee gets 401K, medical, dental, vision, life, etc. available. It's a great package. Sorry, supposed to be listing CONS. Here are a few: - it's not easy. I have a some easy days here and there. But all in all, I work hard. But I like that. I don't want to be handed anything in life, I want to earn it. And because of this hard work (and some occasional late nights), I have broken a few records and hit bigger goals (which means I get paid more). So for me, it's worth it. No one forces me to work hard, I choose to because I make more money when I do. - A big chunk of the company is young... the traveling sales and training teams are largely young females. Since the people interested in the role (on the road 5 days a week) are usually those without husbands/wives/families/etc. Sometimes that youth can be bad, but it's also our most exciting and vibrant team that makes things fun and interesting. So there's pros and cons to that as well... ultimately this team is the MOST heavily trained. We spend 6 months or more training them before they are allowed to do anything on their own. Maybe that's frustrating to new people on that team, but if I ran this business, I wouldn't let you do something until you'd proven you can do it. Again... that's just smart business sense. - They allowed people to vote for if they wanted a Christmas Party or an extra bonus. 60% wanted the bonus. I personally want the Christmas Party (it's insanely fun). So that was definitely disappointing. - There used to be more team outings or happy hours, but it seems like a few of the "fun" things haven't been around as much recently. Not sure why... or if things are just to expensive with the company as big as it is... but it'd be great to bring those back. - If you're not someone who likes working hard, if you aren't creative, or if you aren't money-motivated, or competitive... this probably isn't a great fit for you. - If you're selfish or don't care about impacting others, this isn't the place for you. You have to believe in what we do in order to thrive here. But I think that's true anywhere...

Pros

It is a wonderful place to grow. The role itself is flexible, has great pay and you will work alongside some wonderful and talented people. This role will challenge you and give you opportunities that no other role can.

Cons

The trainer role is unsustainable. You can't do it forever. There needs to be a better way to leverage trainers' experience and talent.

Pros

the employees who are *still* (still being the key word here) there, are some of the nicest most fun people to have as coworkers

Cons

This company is fraudulent to the nth degree. The people who are higher up will be there forever and ever, not matter what kind of dirty and unethical things they do. They're protected because they know things that would ruin this company if it got out. The reviews on here that are 4 & 5 stars are totally rigged.. look at the dates they were all posted - within 2-3 days of each other. I would bet money on the fact that they had an incentive to post positive reviews to weed out the bad (and truthful) ones.
