ScaledOn is one of the most positive work experiences/places to work of my 25+ year career. I've learned so much from my colleagues and enjoy working with them each and every day.
I also enjoy the work/life balance that the Company encourages - time off is liberal and encouraged, there is no guilt trip if you need to sign off to attend to family or personal obligations. The focus is on the work and the results for clients, not the hours in which you complete the work.
ScaledOn has also presented me with ample learning and growth opportunities, with plentiful training, an established learning plan, and an ongoing receptiveness to providing me with the learning opportunities that most interest me.
My role is client-facing and made easier by the fact that ScaledOn's goal is truly the growth of our clients, we don't sell services we can't provide or that we don't feel confident will be beneficial for the client's growth. Unlike some prior experiences, I'm not expected to sell services or set unrealistic expectations in the name of getting more from the client - only that which will GIVE more to the client in results.
Cons
A small but growing company means that some benefits aren't an option (mainly health insurance) but we've grown so much in the time I've been here so I'm excited to see that become an option in the future.
Managing communications across time zones can sometimes be a challenge, but there are many tools in place to encourage asynchronously communicating, so this is more an initial adjustment if you're new to working with an international team.
