Pros

Remote work, decent benefits, and some really great people (though none in upper management).

Cons

- Most dysfunctional company I’ve ever worked at. - CEO and upper management bully employees and I’ve seen them yell at employees who were trying to warn them of potential problems during meetings. - completely dysfunctional operations department. - gaslighting and catty/ego-driven behavior from some of the managers. - all the good people either quit or got fired/laid off for speaking up or trying to do the right things for the company.

Pros

I have had a great experience recruiting for Scale Media. The company is filled with talented, driven people who are passionate about building great brands and moving the business forward. Everyone I partnered with was collaborative, approachable, and genuinely invested in finding the right people for the team. One of my favorite aspects of the role was the variety. I had the opportunity to recruit across creative, growth, product, eCommerce, and marketing, which made every day interesting and gave me exposure to a wide range of exceptional talent. The environment is fast-paced, which creates plenty of opportunities to learn, contribute, and make an impact. If you enjoy taking ownership, collaborating with smart people, and helping build high-performing teams, this is a great place to do it.

Cons

Fast-paced environment with evolving priorities Recruiting processes are still maturing Frequent changes require flexibility and adaptability

Pros

One of the biggest strengths of working here is the company's willingness to embrace AI as a tool that enhances creativity rather than replacing it. It's a great environment for learning, especially if you're interested in staying ahead of where the creative industry is headed. The work is fast-paced, which means you're constantly developing new skills and taking on meaningful responsibility. There's also a collaborative culture where people are open to sharing ideas and feedback, and if you're proactive and willing to adapt, there are plenty of opportunities to grow professionally.

Cons

The pace isn't for everyone, and there's definitely a learning curve if you're new to AI tools. Expectations are high, so people who prefer slower, more traditional creative workflows may find it challenging. That said, if you're willing to adapt, it's a rewarding environment.
