Pros

Cons
I have been with Saviom for a significant period, and while there are some positives, recent changes have raised serious concerns. The most pressing issue is the company’s timing culture. Over the past few months, there has been a consistent increase in working hours. Initially, the expectation was to work until 6:30 PM, which was already on the higher side. Recently, this has been extended to 7:00 PM and then 7:30 PM. This shift is particularly frustrating given that it primarily revolves around the development of a product still in its development phase. The push for longer hours is aimed at accelerating the launch of this product. However, this urgency appears to be misplaced. There is a notable lack of focus on the quality of the product, especially in terms of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX). Despite the extended hours, the product’s UI/UX remains subpar, which is concerning for a company that should prioritize delivering a high-quality product. The extended hours are impacting work-life balance significantly. It feels like the company is prioritizing speed over quality, which is a troubling approach. The emphasis on rushing the product to market, without adequate attention to user experience, may not only affect the product’s success but also employee morale. In summary, while Saviom has potential and some good aspects, the current culture of increasing working hours and the lack of focus on product quality are major drawbacks. If you value a balanced work-life schedule and a commitment to high-quality product development, you might want to consider these factors before joining.
