Pros

The course is well designed and is good for beginner traders.

Cons

I worked for Samuel & Co as a prop trader. I can tell you that there education is very good although the strategies are mediocre. Before applying for the course & job, you are told that the OTE first year of a junior trader are aprx 24K. Now this is based on a performance fee from profits made on your account. However what they fail to disclose is that every trader must pay a one off fee of £200 to 'work' for S&C followed by another fee of £200 every single month, so after paying for the £1200 course fee, and if you are successful in securing a position as a junior trader you have already spent £1600. Once you have paid you initial fees you are allowed access to $25k trading account. You are then told the rules regarding trading. 1. You can only trade the Majors. (8 pairs) 2. you must close all positions before 8pm every Friday. 3. 1% max trade risk. Although due to very tight leverage it is almost impossible to have more than 1 open trade at a time, or even to risk the full 1% 4. You will work from home as there is no space in the office, and they are not accommodating at all. 5. 50/50 profit split between S&C and yourself. Now going back to the earnings, Samuel & Co state that your first year OTE as a junior trader are around £24K. For this to be true, you would have to return +200% in your first year of trading on a $25k account, using a scalping system that allows you to have one active trade at a time. Whether you are profitable or not you are still liable to pay the £200 monthly fee. (This cannot be deducted from any profits made). So to be a trader for S&C you must pay them £2400 a year, meaning in order to achieve a small income you must return at least +210%. After talking to many ex 'employees' it is very very clear that Samuel & Co makes the bulk of its income from luring in hungry young traders, that are mesmerised by exotic Instagram posts by Samuel. After challenging some of his 'senior traders' about their stats, it came to light that they in fact trade Demo accounts and only use an algorithm on live funds. In order to have this algorithm for you account you must pay S&C a further £3500, which was always odd to me as the Algorithm (called Fusion) was always hyped up so surely if it was that good he would have wanted all the traders running this amazing algorithm across multiple trading accounts, however this is not the case. And FYI Fusion is down -8% year to date, great algo! It is a very fair statement to say that in fact you never work for Samuel & Co trading you are just a subscriber, and with over 100 'Junior traders' all paying there course fee's and account fee's it is very obvious where Samuel's perceived wealth comes from. People love to flock to 'successful' individuals however please ask yourself a couple of very simple questions. Would you work for Samuel &Co after reading this? And if Sam has indeed made all this money from trading why is it so important to continue signing up new traders? why not just trade your and invest your wealth? Fortunately, i invested little time and money with Samuel & Co, and have since gone on to trade successfully as private trader and as prop trader. Sometimes early lessons in this game can be cruel. So before you are fooled by speech and a rented Lambo or Porshe.

Samuel and Co Trading Response

We are aware of this review, and for everyone reading this its just one individual that is a competitor that attempts to discredit the business but nontheless will clear up their points. So there are lots of points that are completely not true with this statement and we will address each one both true and false: True statements 1. You are able to only trade the majors, we only trade highly liquid pairs with low spread, reasoning for this is because we are trading short term. Meaning we need a low spread to profit more, and be able to get in and out. This is a common and strategic practice most FX traders apply. 2.You must close all your FX positions by 9pm friday to make sure we do not have exposure over the weekend, meaning we are not at risk of market gaps. Very common again and strategic for capital protection. False facts in this: 1. There are two entry levels, those who are qualified and track verified traders and those do not require training. We have a tier 2 which opens the gateway to those who want to get involved in the market, no one is forced to do training ever, it is all 100% optional to progress with training. 2.You do not have to pay a monthly fee of £200 nor a joining fee!!, this option is for those who do not qualify in our risk bracket, and again is our sandpit fund its 100% optional you can continue trading until you qualify for the higher leveraged accounts. 3. None of our traders trade demo, except students and fusion is not down 8% on the year. Stats are verified and can be seen here: https://www.myfxbook.com/members/SamueTesting/samuel-co-trading-sam-leach/2012240 ( stats do not lie and are 3rd party verified) 4. Our Samuel and Co Trading training is not to lure anyone in, in fact training is to cover the costs of the training and is not profitable. We own yield coin which is valued at $50m+ we do not need to worry about collecting tiny profits from training, again this review is written for slander from a competitor. 5. There is currently 60 traders not 100 to confirm. 6. As for the petty remarks we will ignore that, but to confirm Samuel and Co Trading is a regulated business and is CPD certified and partnered with the Government via DWP. 7. Apologies you have to deal with competitors trying to make a scene, the same individual does this on many forums etc to attempt to discredit us.

Pros

There are no positives, run away.

Cons

They always have an open "junior trader" position. However, you must pay £1250 to take on that position because of the extensive training they give. You will learn only the basics of technical trading. Do not take on the position.

Pros

I recently completed the Level 5 Trading Course with Samuel & Co Trading, and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I had been wanting to do the Level 5 for years, but I knew I needed to find the right company—one that would provide the support, structure, and guidance I personally needed. Samuel & Co absolutely delivered on all fronts. I was taught by Atish and Liam, and both of them were outstanding. They weren’t just instructors—they were mentors. Every single question I had was answered with patience and clarity, and they made sure to explain the material until I genuinely understood it. There were even times they stayed back after the session ended just to ensure I felt confident and clear about the content. That kind of dedication and care made a real difference. The course itself was well-structured, comprehensive, and professionally delivered. But what stood out most to me was the human element—the genuine effort the team put into making sure I felt supported throughout. As someone who had been anxious about finding the right place to study, this meant everything to me. I would highly recommend Samuel & Co to anyone who is thinking about joining but feels unsure or curious. Whether you're brand new to trading or looking to take your skills to a professional level, this is a company that truly invests in your success.

Cons

When reflecting on my time with Samuel & Co Trading, I can genuinely say that there were no cons whatsoever. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, professional, and incredibly supportive. Every aspect of the course—from the structure and content to the instructors and communication—was delivered with care and excellence. Often, people expect to find at least one downside when committing to a course or company, but in this case, I truly didn’t. The instructors were always available, the materials were clear and thorough, and the learning environment was encouraging. At no point did I feel lost, unsupported, or misled. It’s rare to come across a programme that delivers exactly what it promises, but Samuel & Co did just that. I left the course not only with knowledge and confidence but also with gratitude—because it’s not often you can say there were no negatives at all.
