- NOTHING is good enough. High expectations, 0 reward.
- Low pay, rubbish holidays.
- 30 minute lunchbreak
- All benefits are bare minimum.
- Managers haven't got a clue how to be a manager. No training, lots of favouritism. If this was a public service there would be lots of claims being made and the company wouldn't survive a day.
- 'Values & Purpose' shoved down your throat and weaponised when you have a voice about something that you don't agree with. I've had some appalling comments made to me by management that would be considered bullying. Management certainly do not represent values. All a way of trying to control you to agree.
- No diversity or inclusion. If you're remotely different you will be treated like you’re incapable of doing your job.
- Lots of people in high positions getting paid lots with people at the bottom being paid peanuts and worked to the bone. Hierarchy is MASSIVE in Safehinge.
- Not psychologically safe to have an opinion or speak up. You will be silently punished and told you aren’t representing the values… yawn.
- Will hire you to do a job but then consistently undermine your work when they don’t have a clue about how things work (not sure why they bother employing people because they know best about your field of work). Be prepared to have no freedom and be on a task wheel of what the top want and how long it should take you.
- Brainwashing values and purpose (I cannot stress how much this gives cult vibes, it’s terrifying how much they try and silence people with this).
- All about 'protecting people through vulnerable times' and mental health etc which would be lovely if they cared about their own. They couldn't give a hoot about their staffs mental health. Reduced to tears, had anxiety attacks and pushed my mental health to its limit. They think a mindfulness session once a year means they look after staffs mental health.
- Several people disappear overnight in my time there due to being pushed to limits and then we are lied to about what has happened to them.
- CEO is rude and picks his favourites (usually the ones who write big lengthy LinkedIn posts about how amazing the company is - so a little tip there if you want to be a favourite). He will not even greet you in the office if he doesn't favourite you.
- Promised courses and career development - it didn't happen. Managers don’t see your career development as a priority.. you are expected to be a working machine bringing in money all the time. Will always put business needs before you as a human being.
- No room for promotion.
- Micromanaged to the tenth degree.
- Lots of passive aggressive behaviour. I’ve never felt so undervalued and stupid in a job in my entire life.
- Whoever leaves the company then gets criticised for doing a terrible job in their time… so I shall expect the same since my departure.
Honestly wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.
