Pros

- Location - Somewhat stocked kitchen - Some nice people - Good place for mommies (W/L balance)

Cons

- No praises or a pet on the back - even my dog gets more reassurances - No employee personal development - Not a place for motivational people - it will break your spirit - No real doctrine for the software development role: - No code reviews - No room for creativity - you're brain doesn't matter - Challenges No, Maintenance yes - Lack of technological vision - a very old and conservative approach and system design - There are people in key positions that overload the entire delivery process with endless bureaucracy - Senior management nepotism - Senior management is divided and keeps appointing the wrong people to lead the company bottom line is - if you are a motivated and keen programmer do yourself a favor and pass.

Pros

Salaries in the company are based on experience and are above the industry average for many non-entry level positions. This is topped up by an excellent social benefits package and additional perks such as company outings, team buildings, etc. Employees are encouraged to develop their skills through inside and third-party training and mentorship programs. Career development is possible within most departments of the company, and many open positions are filled internally. The work-life balance is adequate, and working overtime is a rare occurrence. Last but not least, SafeCharge offers excellent products and services that employees believe in.

Cons

The company's office space is not ideal - it seems a bit outdated and could be improved in terms of interior design; the same goes for the recreational areas. Work-wise, I see room for improving the communication between the different departments of the company; stronger collaboration between the various teams would be very beneficial. Employees are sometimes restricted by company rules and procedures

Pros

The chance to learn new skills from talented colleagues, which can thankfully be used in more productive and rewarding settings!

Cons

Middle management. The line managers were by and large knowledgeable and helpful, but were fighting a losing battle in terms of resources thanks to those 'higher up'. There seemed to be a lot of politics and a distinct lack of communication between sides leads to a general sense of chaos and uncertainty. From my experience, the company does not value its employees one bit, made no effort to engage with staff nor keep talent as they left in droves and was dishonest with those who stuck around, in regards to the long-term job security in the Dublin office. Loyal, long-serving workers were treated abysmally. Company is completely immoral and should be avoided at all costs!
