Pros

Unlimited PTO: While there are challenges with its implementation, the unlimited PTO policy can be a significant benefit, allowing employees to take time off as needed without worrying about running out of vacation days. Entry-Level Opportunities: SYSTEMSEVEN may serve as a good starting point for individuals entering the workforce or transitioning into a new field, providing valuable experience and exposure. Remote Work Options: Despite the recent restrictions, SYSTEMSEVEN does offer remote work opportunities, which can provide flexibility and a better work-life balance for some employees. Exposure to Industry Practices: Working at SYSTEMSEVEN can offer insight into industry practices and standards, which can be beneficial for professional growth and development.

Cons

During my time at SYSTEMSEVEN, I encountered a workplace with several challenges that impacted employee satisfaction and organizational effectiveness. The unlimited PTO policy initially seemed appealing but lacked clear guidelines in practice. Leadership was weak, characterized by a micromanagement style that stifled innovation and morale. Promises of career growth often went unfulfilled, contributing to high turnover rates driven by quota-driven decisions rather than employee development. The company prioritized conformity over creativity and showed favoritism, often neglecting diverse employee needs. There was a pattern of changing job responsibilities arbitrarily, with management acting as if these changes were known from the start. Remote workers were suddenly restricted to specific geographic areas to accommodate field dispatches without hiring additional drivers, disregarding prior agreements. Moreover, SYSTEMSEVEN paid below industry-average salaries and frequently failed to deliver on promised advancements or benefits. Accountability for poor leadership was conspicuously absent, with blame often shifted onto employees rather than addressing systemic issues. While SYSTEMSEVEN may serve as a suitable entry-level position for those without significant family responsibilities, individuals with dependents or seeking long-term career stability should exercise caution. There are likely better options available, and prospective employees should take their time to carefully evaluate SYSTEMSEVEN before committing. Overall, while SYSTEMSEVEN offered perks such as unlimited PTO, potential hires should carefully consider its management transparency issues, limited career growth, cultural challenges, geographical restrictions for remote work, and a tendency to deflect accountability. These factors significantly impacted the employee experience and organizational cohesion during my tenure.

Pros

Unlimited PTO – In theory, the company offers unlimited paid time off, though it's not as flexible as it appears (see below).

Cons

Toxic Management – Leadership fosters a negative, toxic work environment with unrealistic visions and poor communication. Embarrassingly Low Pay – Compensation is far below industry standards, especially given the workload and level of expertise required. Raises Are a Moving Target – The criteria for raises are constantly shifting, making it nearly impossible to achieve a salary increase. Unnecessary Office Requirement – SYSTEMSEVEN insists on in-office work, even when it's entirely unnecessary for the job. Unjust Firings – Employees are terminated without reason, even after making sacrifices such as moving closer to the office. Misleading PTO Policy – While the company claims to offer unlimited PTO, employees are penalized or even fired for using too much time off, undermining the benefit.
