Pros

Unlimited PTO – In theory, the company offers unlimited paid time off, though it's not as flexible as it appears (see below).

Cons

Toxic Management – Leadership fosters a negative, toxic work environment with unrealistic visions and poor communication. Embarrassingly Low Pay – Compensation is far below industry standards, especially given the workload and level of expertise required. Raises Are a Moving Target – The criteria for raises are constantly shifting, making it nearly impossible to achieve a salary increase. Unnecessary Office Requirement – SYSTEMSEVEN insists on in-office work, even when it's entirely unnecessary for the job. Unjust Firings – Employees are terminated without reason, even after making sacrifices such as moving closer to the office. Misleading PTO Policy – While the company claims to offer unlimited PTO, employees are penalized or even fired for using too much time off, undermining the benefit.

Pros

My coworkers were very friendly and kept the mood light and fun.

Cons

Salary, most salaries are laughably small compared to their market value, and then we're told there's no budget for raises. Work from home - the company continued to try to push for a return to the office despite no one being able to remotely afford a residence within an hour of the office. Culture, the culture at this company was impeccable when I first started, a real small business type, then they tried to make the company more corporate and blamed the employees for ruining the culture. On call, you're expected to be available 24/7 for an entire week per month on the rotation, and are barely compensated for how much work can be done in that on call period. No transparency, management said they would be transparent about many different things and never followed through. Decisions are made on emotion not logic and when people question it they are called out in meetings as "weaponizing the company values". The company is also very clique-y, if you're in the clique with upper management you're allowed to not do your job and have no repercussions repeatedly.
