Pros
I thought STX Entertainment would be a great fit for me, based on what reviews I’ve read, but working here has been such a terrible time. There are a few benefits to be found here, sure, but they are heavily outweighed by the countless problems plaguing the company. You’re much better off working at a convenience store or as a janitor, rather than trying to put up with all the headaches this company will throw your way.
Cons
I honestly don’t know why some reviews speak positively about STX Entertainment, because my experience with them so far has been nothing but stressful and disappointing. I’m forced to work long hours because of how heavy my workload is, as well as how often leadership makes unreasonable demands. Management acts friendly, but they honestly couldn’t care less about employees and constantly guilt-trip and gaslight them into taking on more work than they can feasibly handle. The salary I’m paid doesn’t reflect the amount of work I do at all, and is far below the industry standard. The benefits I receive are terrible as well. I’ve seen a lot of talented employees be ignored, and sometimes let go, despite their performance and loyalty to the company, which goes to show just how little STX Entertainment thinks of them.
