Pros

Between 2015-2020 Friendly coworkers Good work-life balance Learned a lot Pay was good with decent raises Paid overtime Decent year end bonus and profit sharing Average (3%) 401k match with 5 year vesting period Work ethic was recognized and appreciated Each office had an employee committee that planned several events or lunches throughout the year. Fairly flexible work schedule. Good PTO options. Start with 3 or 4 weeks, you could buy 2 weeks and sell them if you didn't use them. Bank unused PTO. Additional 4 hours each year with the company. Unused PTO was paid out if you quit.

Cons

There was very little I didn't like while working here. The only thing I can really remember is that some people were making technology decisions and promises associated with them that just wouldn't work at the time. Large scale changes were being made a bit too quickly but it seems to be working out for them.

Hi and thank you for sharing your SSOE experience with us! We have heart for our colleagues and humbly believe that it cascades down into our care for one another; it is pretty wonderful! As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, SSOE spent the past many months researching total benefits | total rewards both internally and externally. Over the past 12 months, we have implemented enhancements that give more paid parental leave, more paid bereavement leave, more 401k employer contribution, more compensation, etc. SSOE is listening and we humbly believe this is pretty wonderful too! With regards to quick technology changes, we sincerely value your perspective and are committed to doing better. Thank you!

Pros

A few strong leaders kept on doing their best to evolve.

Cons

Reactive and short-term leadership, lack of transparency in decision-making, DEI commitment that doesn't survive scrutiny at the leadership level, and a communication culture that defaults to lack of transparency over honesty.
