Pros

Easy tasks, making phone calls and interviewing financial advisors. Have opportunities to travel around the country which is nice. For the tasks they have you do, the job is pretty easy and the money isn’t awful, it isn’t great, but it’s not bad.

Cons

Job is extremely boring. You’re essentially working in a call center. Just asking the same questions over and over again. No real management involved in day to day so the culture is absolutely awful. The team is run by 25 year old with zero management experience.

Pros

Nice Weather, good first job. Gave annual reviews and bonuses, Small, tight knit staff at first. Was family company. Quirky, but owners tried to do right thing. Generous time off and great lunches. Lots of travel.

Cons

Lost focus in past two years. Sold to PE firm in 2025. Things are kinda a mess right now as PE takes control. Tiny raises, no bonuses. Family disconnected. Not like the past. New management is bringing it its own people and slowly reorganizing. Has been poorly managed company the past 2 years as founder looked for buyers and expanded rapidly. This caused a toxic culture with lots of finger pointing. Uncomfortable working environment. Not sure this mess can be easily fixed.

Pros

The time-off policy is solid, and the pay is competitive for now. Just don't count on the compensation staying that way once the new private equity owners settle in.

Cons

This place had its challenges before, but things have noticeably declined since the private equity group brought in new leadership. Raise a concern with the recently installed President and CMO and you'll get brushed off or talked down to. The overall atmosphere has shifted, and a lot of people feel it. There's also a sense that decisions are being made without a full understanding of how the business actually runs day to day. Don't be surprised if some people move on in the coming months as the new direction takes hold.
