Pros
A safe pair of hands in terms of employment - not looking to rock the market with bleeding edge technology. All home-grown, slowly slowly, with sustained incremental year-on-year growth. Not a firing culture.
Cons
Most decisions are made at mothership in Germany by way of a hierarchical communication process. However, success can most definitely be achieved outside of the DACH region as proven by some country managers.
