Pros

There are lots of really talented people working there who know a lot about the industry. The job was fun for a while. With cool products to work on. Work and life balance had improved a little over time. Sometimes I learned new things.

Cons

The purchase of the company turned too many decision to be about for the next quarter profits, and the new owner is not adding much good to the situation. There are a lot of people who are recently stepping into leadership and that are corporate poltics and who are not contributing what is really needed to help the company. Many engineers have been let go in downsize. Pay was not that great anyway. Many basics of the company have be ignored to maximize profit so operation is not good. Sales teams has not been good at findng new business opportunities and seemed to only sell to the same customers over and over. Career growth was not good. Culture change is needed but not really able to happen with new owner and managers who want to take the company in even worse direction.

Pros

Great place to start out your career. A lot of knowledgeable people willing to share experience. Great 401k.

Cons

Doesn’t have as many perks as larger companies but still great benefits overall.

Pros

Every other Friday off and a full week at Christmas

Cons

Went from being a completely amazing company to corporate awfulness within a year. The company used to have food trucks, employee parties and team building events, and positive management to higher ups sabotaging any progress the company could have continued to make. Rewarding compliance over competence. I’ve watched too many loyal, capable, and efficient workers be replaced by incompetence and dishonest employees who toe the line and throw others under the bus.
