Pros
The engineers I work with are amazing people, and many are amazingly talented at what they do. I am fortunate enough to work in a group with great collaboration and a positive culture. Most of the things we design/build are cutting edge technology, and really fun to develop.
Cons
Recently bough by Raytheon, and have been smothering ever since. Loosing business because Raytheon doesn't understand SEAKR's culture or strengths. Programs are bid with no regard for reality, and the engineers are left to pick up the pieces and try and salvage an impossible schedule. Leadership has been inconstant, and often seems unsure where the company is headed. While Raytheon has provided one or two positive benefits to employees, the most noticeable change has been so much red tape that it is impossible to do our jobs sometimes, and all indications are that the standard benefits package at Raytheon is much worse than SEAKR's, so not looking forward to when they finally get around to unifying benefits.
