Pros

There are some good people spread throughout the organization. It looks like the other offices have a lot of fun and do interesting work, but the Chicago office...not so much. Lots of free alcohol and mixers with the cool kids, but if that's not your thing, you're treated like a leper. Did you see the movie, Mean Girls? They don't want you sitting at their lunch table.

Cons

You sit at one of two tables: the cool kid table where you are invited to take part in the reindeer games or the leftover table where you spend endless hours servicing existing clients. Once you are relegated to the leftover table there is only way to go: away. You will no longer be recognized by management. Maintaining the client should not be a bad thing. It's what pay the bills so you can do amazing creative. But at Scout you are looked down upon. It's really pretty sad. The process could definitely stand an overhaul. Scout seems perfectly happy selling round upon round of revisions instead of strong messaging and accuracy. The management makes promises to land talent and once they're onboard, those promises are conveniently forgotten or used as leverage to encourage an action. It just made me angry.
