Very rewarding to work with families in need. You get to support them in many areas of their life. Best pay rates in the area and you get mileage. The team members and support you get from peers is really exceptional. Everyone kept their jobs even through COVID. Clinicians are paid salary versus hourly so client cancellations don't have an impact on your weekly pay.
Cons
Working for a satellite location means you feel disconnected and left out of major company decisions. The main office location seems to get the most benefit, respect, and perks. The benefits plans are based around the main office location. The higher ups get personally offended when complaints are made. It's a very challenging job working with clients who do not want you in their home. Hard to have work/life balance with families in crisis and being on call 24/7.
