My Experience in SAM - QA/QC Engineer SAM Building Contracting Employee Review

I got an offer from SAM Contracting and worked just 4 days with them, and it was a very disappointing experience. They promised decent accommodation for engineers, but the room provided was worse than typical labor housing - completely unacceptable. The work hours were exhausting, often exceeding 12 hours per day. So decided not to continue with them. A major red flag is their policy of collecting original passports and certificates from all candidates, even before signing any contract. I personally witnessed senior managers fighting to get their documents back. In my case, they collected the original passport and certificates from me on the first day of meeting with them and refused to return it unless I paid AED 7,000, despite me not signing any contract document. I had no choice but to pay to get my documents back. If you're considering this company, please think twice. Don't trust their promises and never hand over your original documents. It's a costly trap.
