Pros
None that I can think of.
Cons
Health insurance is expensive; employee pay share, deductibles, covered care is preventative only, not sick ... bring back an HMO! Supervisors and managers need to pay more attention to their staff instead of bad mouthing them behind their backs, yelling at them, insulting and putting them down, swearing at them ... moral is bad, most employees there hate their jobs and only stay because of a failing workforce. Undeserving managers get rewarded, even though they do nothing for their staff. What open door, it really is made of glass. Two-way glass! Several employees are sick. Some are working past retirement. One often walks off the job, in anger, during the day, coming back the next. Several cause damage in the shop creating an unsafe work environment, repeatedly. Unequal overtime, it's a matter of favorites, not teamwork. Only one person works on call every night, while also working during the day. Mechanics are not given the chance to advance; no promotions, no raises, no transfers. Manager is late every day, usually unreachable. Mechanics clock in and sit around drinking coffee. I could go on.
