Pros
- Pretty much 100% flexible. I can work when and where I want, as long as I meet my deadlines (which I set my own timelines too!) - I am always learning. Writing for Rozzy requires an up to date knowledge of current science and political events. This means I get paid to research what is currently going on in the world. -Great as a side hustle. I was able to teach full-time while writing at night/on weekends before I decided to leave the classroom and was offered a full-time position with Rozzy. -Management is friendly and supportive and there was always someone available to help when I was starting out. - Small company may mean you jump in and help out with something you weren't necessarily hired to do, but I've gained a ton of skills by learning on the job and management is willing to help train and give feedback.
Cons
- Rozzy has a different approach than other curriculum firms I've worked with, which is what allows them to fill a needed niche in the market. But the style of writing is a little different and took me a bit longer than normal to get down.
