Pros
There is flexibility with the schedule, the co-workers were great.
Cons
The management was terrible. There are lot of politics you have to play and if you aren't willing to play you wouldn't last. You can not give any push back with certain leaders. There is zero transparency. While the co-workers were amazing it was so hard to be able to trust anyone because you had no idea who was siding with who. They were very unorganized and always changing what was the most important thing to be working on. If you know the saying if everything is important, nothing is important. That is what it felt like working there. They were always saying everything was top priority, which made nothing top priority. There was a lot of micromanaging on certain teams. I would say some of my skills decreased rather than gaining and growing in my role. The teams would talk about how bad the culture was getting and the leadership response was that we needed to change our attitude. When there were a lot of budge cuts and we weren't able to do any team building activities anymore, the leadership team made sure they were still able to do the "leadership offsite" which would always consist of a great activity. They made sure they were taken care of, but we weren't able to voice that things weren't great for us.
